Albert Kahan

Background:
Albert got a B.S. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University. He worked for DuPont doing research on the design and manufacture of photographic films of the type used by the printing industry to make printing plates.

He has been taking photographic slides of his travel all over the world since 1980. Many will eventually be scanned. In 2005, he bought his first digital camera. Most of his current work is based on the digital photos, using Adobe Photoshop™ to modify his pictures. This allows considerable creativity beyond the taking of the picture. Sometimes you get the picture and sometimes a bit more or a lot more. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
